Finding a unicorn?
People sometimes say they "found a unicorn" when they discover something that was rare or hard to find.
I was wondering what your "unicorn" was in regards to horses or horse items?
One of mine was a 5.5 western curb bit I found on ebay.
I also found a black, studded headstall that is western but passes as medieval at a consignment shop.
I found a Julip horse model set in the U.S. Julips are British horse models in doll house scale for those who didn't know. I always wanted one when I was a kid, LOL.
My unicorn has nothing to do with horses. I collect Blue Ridge/Southern Potteries dinnerware. I found a tea/chocolate set (porcelain) for $25.00, worth about $1400.
