White horse has brown spots?
I lease an 18 year old white hanovarian gelding. I was brushing him and noticed a bunch of brown dots, kind of like a leopard appy pattern. Does anyone know why they appear?
he is a pure hanovairan hes not mixed fyi lol
its called flea bitten grey. Most grey horses are born black and gradualy turn grey.
They go from black/grey, to dapple grey, to sliver grey, to flea bittern.
Most of the time anyway.
Your horse is about the age that this shows up in most horses.
Its not unusual at all. Thats just what happens to his color as he ages.
